We Welcome the Windsor Heights Police Department to GiGi’s!

If I told you that a trio of “Windsor Height’s Finest” dropped in on GiGi’s this past Friday evening for out latest edition of Fantastic Friends, you might be concerned that they were responding to a call. Well, they were, but not the kind of call you might think.

You see, GiGi’s Playhouse Program Manager Kaitlin Hohnstrater recently invited Chief of Police Pete Roth and a few of his officers to the Playhouse as part of her new outreach initiative. Their Wednesday afternoon visit was the first time any of them had stopped in to meet the GiGi’s staff and get a tour of our facility. And, like everyone else who walks into GiGi’s for the first time, they were amazed at the size and beauty of our place, not to mention all that it includes. A gym and art studio? Really?

Kaitlin gave them an open invitation to come back when the place was hoppin’, and they did just that this past Friday night for Fantastic Friends. We will neither confirm nor deny if any of the officers joined any of the participants to sing on stage, but we will confirm that they had a blast.
We hope the Windsor Heights Police Department will include GiGi’s Playhouse when they are “making the rounds” every Friday night or any day they choose.

And that goes for you, too! If you’re ever in the neighborhood, drop in and say hello. We’d love to show you around!
