“i have a voice” Traveling Gallery Unveiling!

We are so excited at GiGi’s Playhouse Des Moines! The unveiling of our “i have a voice” Traveling Gallery is 8am this Friday, the 28th at Jordan Creek Mall in the lower level by Younkers. What is it you say? It’s a gallery. It’s a movement. It’s a campaign designed to increase cultural awareness and build advocacy for people with Down syndrome. We hope to influence one person at a time through the 42 portraits, hands, and accompanying quotes in this gallery until we have over one million new voices that will speak up for, defend and befriend our kids.  So come see us this Friday! Have to work or go to school? That’s okay the gallery will be placed at Jordan Creek Town Center for Down Syndrome Awareness Month, so you have plenty of time! 🙂 Visit https://conta.cc/PYhOYz for more information.
