Strike a Pose

Last week our son Pierce was asked to be a model for the 2020 GiGi’s Playhouse National Calendar. We had such a blast visiting the first GiGi’s Playhouse location in Chicago and meeting the founder Nancy Gianni.

“She is living proof that miracles do exist. Fifteen years ago, she had no idea that the birth of her daughter, GiGi, and the shock of a subsequent Down syndrome diagnosis would trigger a series of miracles that would eventually help change how the world sees differences. Through it all, she learned that although a miracle is not always pretty or obvious, and may even be disguised as pain or tragedy, it is what we do with that pain that brings the miracle to light.”

Nancy, if it was not for your vision and your determination to to create a movement of positive change and acceptance we would not have GiGi’s today! So THANK YOU!!

We are also excited to head back down to Chicago in October for GiGiFest. You can find our more info on GiGiFest and how to be a part of the Calendar by liking and following GiGi’s Playhouse, Inc in Hoffman Estates, Illinois.
