Program Spotlight: LMNOP

LMNOP (Language, Music, N’ Our Peeps) is an interactive and engaging program designed to guide parents and young children through learning basic sign language and other forms of communication using music and language-based activities. Recommended for ages newborn to 36 months.

Speech Pathologist, Lori Leach, teaches the participants  different signs and songs with a new theme each week. Some of the themes that are featured in the LMNOP session for the participants to learn are signs associated with family, friends, feelings, food, drink, animals, colors and letters. This program also focuses on language development, following directions, social interaction, and sensory play.

A family with a little boy in LMNOP said that that their son has been learning a couple of new signs each week and uses them at home when it is appropriate. Way to go!!

LMNOP is taking the winter off but will be back in the spring 2020!
