Lawson Elementary Shows How They Care!

These are the fourth graders from Lawson Elementary in Johnston. But more than that, this is what helping our GiGi’s Playhouse looks like!!!

Each year, the fourth-grade class chooses an organization to help by collecting items that the organization might need. They were inspired by their classmate, Luke, who has Down syndrome, and chose GiGi’s Playhouse. (That’s Luke in the front row with the red-sleeved shirt!) After visiting the “wish list” on the GiGi’s website, these amazing, generous and caring boys and girls went out into the community to collect items like cups, magic markers, cleaning supplies and juice boxes – all items that we are constantly shopping for to keep our beautiful Playhouse clean and inviting.

Just look at this haul! Thanks to these great kids (and their teachers and parents) for helping GiGi’s Playhouse! You guys are the BEST!

If you’d like to help our GiGi’s in this unique way, just see what’s on that wish list of ours: https://ow.ly/LPN750XxSzP
