$50,000+ Amina Grace Speech and Language Program
IMPACT: The GiGi’s Playhouse Amina Grace speech and language program provides youth, teens and adults with greatly expanded opportunities to evolve and refine their speech and language skills. Effective enunciation, clarity of speech, word order and message meaning are paramount to fostering greater self-confidence, comprehension, problem-solving, school readiness, social skills, independence, and overall quality of life.
$50,000+ GiGiFIT Series of Programs
IMPACT: Our FREE GiGiFIT programs combine physical therapy with a strong fitness focus and an ultimate goal of success and improved movement. GiGiFIT was created in collaboration with skilled Physical Therapists who work specifically with individuals with Down syndrome. The GiGiFIT programs are designed to address common issues for individuals with Down syndrome including hypotonia, excessive joint laxity, and decreased balance. Every GiGiFIT program is safe, effective, and progressive. GiGiFIT helps participants build strength, endurance, power, joint stability, balance, and movement control. GiGiFIT empowers participants to be more independent and confident in their abilities while improving their overall health and wellness.

IMPACT: The GiGi’s Career Development Programs are progressive learning programs. They are designed to motivate adults with Down syndrome to achieve their highest potential in the world through innovative, educational, goal-development and small group skills instruction, health and wellness, career skills, empowerment, community engagement and exceptional work opportunities. GiGi’s Playhouse offers a three-tiered career development program that prepares adults with Down syndrome to gain meaningful employment/volunteerism in their respective communities. Social focus is to help communities gain a stronger understanding that promotes an environment of inclusion and acceptance for individuals with Down syndrome. To remove potential barriers for our families, participation in these programs is at NO COST to our participants. GiGi’s Career Development Programs have various positive impacts on adults with Down syndrome and on the community at large. Every interaction and friendly conversation reminds the community that stereotypes and discrimination toward people with Down syndrome must change. In doing so, more employers will seriously consider hiring ready and willing candidates with Down syndrome allowing communities, companies and people to grow stronger together.

IMPACT: Be accepting. Be generous. Be kind. That is the message of Generation G. The GiGi’s mission is to change the way the world views Down syndrome and send a global message of acceptance for all. Help us fulfill that mission in this community through awareness campaigns, outreach, and marketing materials. Awareness materials include national calendars, banners, mobile galleries, and booklets for parents, educators, and potential employers of participants with Down syndrome.
$25,000 Safety and Security
IMPACT: Safety is always our priority. We are looking to enhance the safety and learning of all individuals who enter our Playhouse. Changing out the doors in each of our learning labs with doors that have one-way mirror windows will allow parents and caregivers to observe their child’s lessons without the distraction to the participant. This will give families the opportunity to learn techniques from tutors that can be taken and applied at home. Additional lighting and security for the exterior of the Playhouse will help create a more secure environment for those later evenings of programs at the Playhouse.
PLATINUM LEVEL
$10,000 Technology Equipment
IMPACT: Help our Playhouse run smoothly and safely with up-to-date technology. We need computers for GiGi U participants and staff, 1-2 televisions to inform and train parents, volunteers, donors and community members. In addition, a security system with video cameras helps to keep participants and volunteers safe. Our music system is essential to in providing a welcoming and celebratory feel at the playhouse.
$10,000 Learning Labs
IMPACT: Children and adults expand their reading, math skills, speech and language skills, organization skills, self-confidence, and focus through our 1-on-1 Literacy and Math Tutoring and Speech and Language Therapy programs! Shh... don’t tell them that they’re learning while they think they’re just having fun playing with letters, shapes, manipulatives, games and tactile strategies that teach our participants the way they learn best.
GOLD LEVEL
$5,000 Playhouse Training and Support
IMPACT: We are 99% volunteer run! Training staff and volunteers takes time and resources, and we’ll gain lots of assistance form the GiGi’s National Office to get this done, but it is not free to execute. For our staff, board members, and key volunteers, the GiGi’s Annual National Leadership Conference in Chicago is pivotal for training, networking, and gaining inspiration from the 40+ other locations.

IMPACT: A hidden gem that needs to be uncovered. GiGi’s Playhouse is not as well-known across our community as we need it to be, and we want to change this by spreading the word and getting our name out to support more families and educate our communities to be more accepting, generous, and kind.
SILVER LEVEL
$2,500 Resource Library
IMPACT: Computer access for attendees encourages learning and exploring for kids and adults alike. We can teach typing skills, internet safety, appropriate online communication tactics, research skills and more. In the resource library, parents and other family members can also gain access to up-to-date information about Down syndrome, other community resources, and teaching strategies. Help us keep our resource library up-to-date with the most relevant information.
BRONZE LEVEL
$1,000 Program Supporter
IMPACT: 100% of GiGi’s programs are free to families and are therapeutic or educational in nature. Each one is facilitated by a trained volunteer, many of whom are therapists and educators. Whether the focus is gross motor skills, fine motor skills, social development, speech and language, fitness, or career skills, every program at GiGi’s playhouse is purposeful and progressive. We focus on the needs specific to the Down syndrome community and teach in a way they learn best.

IMPACT: Support a community awareness event for new families, volunteers and/or prospective donors to show people what the Playhouse is all about and the impact it makes to families, volunteers and community members.

IMPACT: With over 50+ brick and mortar locations across the United States and Mexico and 200 inquiries to start new locations all over the world, GiGi’s Playhouse is the ONLY network of Down Syndrome Achievement Centers. Every day, we provide FREE, life-changing therapeutic, educational and career training programs for 30,000+ individuals of all ages. We want to share the work we are doing with the community through images and stories.
FRIEND OF THE PLAYHOUSE
$500 Building Sign
IMPACT: Why fit in when you can stand out? New, updated signage for our building will allow more visibility and allow us to drive our mission through piquing the curiosity of those who may see our sign and stop in to learn more so we can continue to educate and inform others about the importance of inclusion and acceptance.
$100 Celebration Basket
IMPACT: Often, when families walk through the doors of GiGi’s Playhouse, it is the first time they hear the word “congratulations” and the first time they are celebrated for having a baby with Down syndrome. The Celebration Basket is a gift of resources and congratulations from GiGi’s Playhouse to a new family. These interactions are among the most important moments within our Playhouses and will never be forgotten.
