Congratulations, Sydney!

We are so proud of our intern, Sydney! She graduated from Cleveland State University this past month with her Bachelor’s of Science in Health Sciences. She completed her internship in August, but continued volunteering much of her time during her fall semester to tutor, lead and assist programs, and help keep the Playhouse running. Check out that amazing cap she designed! She is truly a remarkable example of #GenerationG and has made such an impact on our families. We are going to miss her tremendously as she continues her education to pursue her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy.

“You guys have taught me so much! Every single one of you! You have solidified my decisions for my career and made me into such a better person. I wanted my graduation cap to send a message that individuals with Down syndrome are awesome and are here to be world changers! I love you ALL!”

Congratulations, Sydney! GiGi’s Cleveland loves you!
