Bubbles & Beats: A Sparkling Celebration of 10 Years!

What. An. Event.

Our hearts are bubbling over as we reflect on the impact our community made last night. As we raised a glass for the last 10 years and those who laid the foundation, we catapulted with zeal into the next 10. What started out as a dream in our Cleveland community, has now become a beacon of hope, advocacy, and achievement.

After all the paddles were raised, silent auction items won, and exclusive GiGi’s hats worn on supporters heads with pride - together we raised $220,000 to continue the ripple effect we are all a part of. We are moving mountains, friends. Each dollar raised goes back into all our programs, tutoring sessions, volunteer training, and advocacy efforts.

We want to thank our sponsors for their support in last nights event, as their support allows us to amplify the voices of our friends with Down syndrome.

Lastly, we want to thank our events committee for bringing Bubbles & Beats to life. Led with confidence by Darren Fron and Zack Blau, the entire committee worked tirelessly to make last evening unforgettable. Thank you - Erin, Carrie, Anouska, Mari, Anna, Becky, Mary, & Nick - for the hours and love poured into last night. We also thank ALL our volunteers who took time out of their Saturday night to make the event seamless.

This year’s event will be hard to top, but until then, from all of us at GiGi’s - thank you for supporting and believing in the work we do to continue supporting our amazing friends with Down syndrome and their families.
