Elks Lodge Chicago Northshore and Lane Tech Hockey Support GiGi’s Chicago

Amazing Easter Celebration at GiGi’s Chicago thanks to the Elks Lodge and the Lane Tech Hockey Team!

The wonderful volunteers from the Elks approached us about having an Easter event.  We had never had the Easter Bunny visit our playhouse but we loved the idea.   The wonderful volunteers from the Elks, Sandy, Brian and Avis are no strangers to GiGi’s.  They’ve been at work behind the scenes supporting the Christmas party and providing snacks for the playhouse, as well as attending our World Down Syndrome Day celebration.  They sponsored the Easter event and provided everything, including the Easter Bunny!

In addition, we had a group of students reach out from the Lane Tech Hockey Team to volunteer!   These freshman and sophomore boys did a great job with the Easter Egg hunt, games, and learned a lot about GiGi’s too.   Thank you for taking the time on a busy weekend to volunteer and helping us spread our global message of acceptance to all.

Thank you Sandy, Brian and Avis from Elks Lodge #1316 for your continued support.
