Join the Celebration: Volunteer for our World Down Syndrome Day Party on March 21st!

Calling For Volunteers!

GiGi’s Playhouse Chicago is gearing up for our annual World Down Syndrome Day party, and we need your enthusiastic spirit and helping hands to make it truly extraordinary! This celebration is scheduled for Thursday, March 21st, from 5:30pm – 7:00pm, and we want YOU to be a part of the joy and festivities.

There are numerous ways you can contribute to making this day unforgettable for our Down syndrome community. Whether you’re passionate about event setup, assisting at our craft table, being a dance buddy, or simply spreading smiles, we have a spot just for you. Grab a buddy and join us for an evening filled with laughter, love, and celebration!

And don’t forget to wear your mismatched socks! This fun tradition symbolizes the uniqueness of individuals with Down syndrome, who have an extra chromosome. Just like chromosomes, our socks might not match, but together, they create something beautiful. So, don’t forget to add a touch of whimsy to your outfit and sport those mismatched socks with pride!
