Imani’s & Olu’s Impact Story

What bought you to GiGi’s Playhouse Chicago?

A parent that I knew, whose child was born with an extra chromosome, shared about GiGi’s Playhouse Chicago with me, around the same time Olu was born.

What is your most memorable moment of impact in 2023?

For Olu and me especially, we saw the Teen Tastic program at GiGi’s and Olu has shown so much interest and communication with other participants at this time. It has helped him with speech.  Watching the teens on the stage has been phenomenal.

What is your vision for 2024?

I would love to see Olu get extra help with your Amina Grace speech therapy and continue with his 1:1 math and literacy. He will also hopefully join Teen Tastic program next year!
