Ignite a Love for Learning: Volunteer as a Math and Literacy Tutor at GiGi’s Playhouse Chicago!

Are you passionate about education and empowering others to reach their full potential? GiGi’s Playhouse Chicago invites you to join our incredible team of volunteers as a Math and/or Literacy Tutor for our Summer 2024 session!

Starting the week of June 3rd and running for 10 weeks until the week of August 11th, this rewarding tutoring program aims to make a lasting impact in the lives of individuals with Down syndrome. As a tutor, you’ll have the opportunity to create a positive learning environment and foster a love for math and literacy.

You’ll work with our participants one-on-one, tailoring your approach to their unique learning styles and abilities. No prior tutoring experience is required—just a patient, encouraging, and empathetic attitude.

Eligibility: Volunteers must be 18 years or older
Registration Deadline: May 13th

The impact of your dedication will extend far beyond the 10 weeks, leaving a lasting impression on our participants’ academic journey.
