Destination Discovery Recap

Written by Amanda & Sophia – Rush University OT Students

We had the BEST time leading Destination Discovery this summer! Throughout the past 3 months, we explored all of our senses through play! We dove into sensory bins, crawled through tunnels, blew bubbles, made art projects with paints and markers, played many instruments, created ball pits, and more. We have seen such growth in the participants such as making strides in crawling, using the stairs, and gaining overall confidence. We have learned valuable lessons like water bins tend to be messy and that play is such a powerful way to connect with yourself and others! Most of all we all were creating everlasting relationships and connections!

We have loved getting to know each child and family that came through the door this summer.

Thank you for joining us at Destination Discovery and we hope to see you all soon!

With love,

Amanda & Sophia
