Celebrating Marissa’s Best of All at GiGi’s Kitchen!

At GiGi’s Playhouse, every day is filled with moments that warm our hearts and remind us why we do what we do. Today, we’re thrilled to celebrate a special Best of All moment from one of our amazing participants, Marissa!

Marissa has always been a bright light at GiGi’s Playhouse, and her enthusiasm for GiGi’s Kitchen is nothing short of inspiring. From the moment she steps through the door, Marissa is ready to make the day great—not just for herself but for everyone around her.

As her peers arrive for GiGi’s Kitchen, Marissa is there, eager to greet each of them with a warm smile and a friendly hello. She takes the time to help them sign in, making sure everyone feels welcomed and ready for the fun ahead. Marissa’s kindness and attention to detail make a world of difference, setting a positive tone for the session.

But Marissa’s contributions don’t stop there. In the kitchen, she shines even brighter. Whether she’s stirring, chopping, or measuring ingredients, Marissa is always focused and ready to cook. But what makes her truly special is the way she supports her peers. She offers words of encouragement, cheers them on when they face challenges, and is always there to lend a helping hand. Marissa understands that cooking is more than just following a recipe—it’s about working together, learning from one another, and creating something delicious as a team.

Marissa’s ability to connect with our volunteers is another one of her strengths. She knows how to ask for guidance when she needs it, and she’s always open to learning new skills. Her willingness to listen and follow directions makes her a pleasure to work with, and she often inspires others to do the same.

And let’s not forget Marissa’s love of coffee! We’re pretty sure that her secret ingredient is a little extra caffeine 🙂
