Best of All: Alaina

best of all (noun) \best of all\

is continual, measurable, celebrated and it never ends. It is a daily challenge to do a little better than you did the day before and it’s always celebrated. Possible manifestations: standing just one second longer, reading just one more word, learning just one new number, taking just one more step, never a competition, never completed.

Alaina has had a Best of All moment since starting her literacy tutoring this spring. Alaina was shy at first, feeling anxious about being in a new place and meeting new people. Alaina quickly warmed up to her tutor, Nevaeh, and began showing her all around the Playhouse. Who would have thought she would go from feeling nervous to giving her own Playhouse tours!

Alaina now loves GiGi’s Playhouse and isn’t ready to leave when her session ends. She even says she wants to be the boss of the Playhouse one day 🙂
