Volunteer Spotlight: Nick Doyle

If you are from the Northeast Ohio area, there is a good chance that you have heard of Nick Doyle, AKA the Big Dog. Nick is a busy guy around Stark County; he has been involved in so many different programs and networks that we are lucky to have a piece of his time.

Nick currently works two jobs. He might have greeted and seated you as a host at Applebee’s in Belden Village, or maybe he has made you laugh as a performer and National Sales Executive with “The Improvaneers“, the world’s first all Down syndrome improvisation troupe.

Nick also keeps his body strong and healthy during his workouts with Midnight City CrossFit. In the community, Nick was recognized as a member of the 2021 Canton Chamber of Commerce “Twenty under 40!”

Nick has been a part of GiGi’s Playhouse Canton since the beginning as a member of the start-up team and is currently an active self-advocate, ambassador, and Board Member. Nick has been an event committee member for our Ladies Night Out fundraiser, helps with outreach and is going to Chair our upcoming Gratitude Committee, and gives the best tours of the Playhouse.

Call and schedule one now to see for yourself! (330) 493-9114

Nick – we are so, so lucky to have you on our team! Your energy and willingness to step up at any time are contagious. In the words of our good friend Mike Sturdivant, “Nick is living proof that someone’s true ability will always have the opportunity to outshine any disability they may have.”
