Best of All: Alex

Alex started coming to Fantastic Friends in January and was excited to be back at the Playhouse for the first time since 2020.

Alex was wanting to play independently and did not want to join the group at first, throwing the football with one of our program leaders in one room while the rest of the group started their craft. Alex decided he was comfortable joining his friends again and joined them in the other room to make their crafts and socialize. He was feeling shy at first and seemed anxious to answer some questions that the group was going around the circle sharing, such as their name and something they like, however he was empowered to take his time and was able to answer his friends questions. Alex independently asked the group what their favorite restaurant was, too!

Our volunteers are so excited that Alex is back and returning to Fantastic Friends AND Friends, Fun, & Fitness.
