Volunteer Spotlight: Amy

Amy was instrumental in making our first-ever Snow Much Fun event a success! With her expertise and background in nonprofit fundraising, Amy was able to make our winter wonderland come to life.

Amy was introduced to GiGi’s Playhouse by her daughter, Serena, who is our current Literacy Coordinator. Amy came for our volunteer orientation in August of 2021 and has since logged around 70 hours of volunteer work! She is a retired teacher and taught for 27 years, has experience with fundraising and outreach, and is skilled in administrative work, cooking, organizing, and art.

Amy loves plants and gardening, both indoors and out, and her favorite place to vacation is the beach.

Thanks for all you have done for the Playhouse, Amy!!
