GiGi’s Playhouse Launches Partnership with Lifestyle Brand Erin Condren to Celebrate Down Syndrome Awareness Month

September 12, 2019 (Hoffman Estates, Ill.) – GiGi’s Playhouse Down Syndrome Achievement Centers (“GiGi’s Playhouse”) launched a new partnership this month with lifestyle organizational brand Erin Condren. The collaboration between the two organizations brings to market a new line of notepads and planner covers featuring designs by student artists with Down syndrome. The new product line, “The Dream Collection,” is available now and will be sold through October, which is Down Syndrome Awareness Month.

The colorful designs that define the new product line were created by artists who participate in free programs offered at GiGi’s Playhouse Atlanta. The Dream Collection features four sets of notepads and two interchangeable covers for the signature Erin Condren LifePlanner™. Notepad packs are priced at $15 to $18. Each planner cover is priced at $8. Erin Condren will donate 50% of the purchase price of each product sold during this limited time campaign to GiGi’s Playhouse. These specially designed notepads and covers are available online at https://www.erincondren.com/gigis-playhouse.

The Erin Condren brand is known for its commitment to philanthropy and has partnered with groups such as Alex’s Lemonade Stand, Breast Cancer Research Foundation and The Kindness Campaign. The partnership came about thanks to an idea from Claire Casteel, educational director at GiGi’s Playhouse Atlanta, who shared her students’ artwork with her cousin Erin Condren and suggested a collaboration. “I was thrilled when Claire presented us with this opportunity. Being able to support such an incredible organization is a true blessing and it’s so meaningful to be able to feature designs that are 100% the work of GiGi’s students. The Dream Collection is a fitting name because having a company that’s able to give back has always been my ultimate dream,” said Condren.

“GiGi’s Playhouse is honored to have been chosen as the newest nonprofit partner by the generous and talented team at Erin Condren,” said Nancy Gianni, Founder and Chief Belief Officer at GiGi’s Playhouse. “When my daughter GiGi was born with Down syndrome, I made a promise to her that I would help the world see people with Down syndrome in a new way. These beautiful new products from Erin Condren showcase the incredible work of our playhouse students in Atlanta and help demonstrate that people with Down syndrome are capable of anything!”
