McAlister’s Deli & GiGi’s Playhouse are celebrating World Down Syndrome Day!
The relationship between McAlister’s Deli and GiGi’s Playhouse is one for the books! This inclusive restaurant is celebrating World Down Syndrome Day. McAlister’s Deli locations in Roswell and Midtown are donating a percentage of their sales for the week (03/14-03/21) to GiGi’s Playhouse Atlanta in support of GiGi’s mission and free, therapeutic and career development programs.
Hannah Keen is a hard-working, quality employee at McAlister’s Deli in Roswell! With every work shift, she shows the Roswell community that individuals with Down syndrome can have jobs, relationships, and dreams. At McAlister’s, she offers amazing customer service, delivers food, cleans tables, washes dishes, and much more.
Through her interactions with staff and customers, she is changing the way the world views Down syndrome and sending a global message of acceptance for all! You can see Hannah in action this Sunday on World Down Syndrome Day over lunch at McAlister’s Deli in Roswell.
