Let’s explore together and discover the incredible benefits waiting for us right here in Wausau and surrounding areas! Our first blog is all about Good News Project!
In the heart of Wausau, Wisconsin, the Good News Project is making an incredible difference in our community through its innovative programs and compassionate outreach. As a proud recipient of the Impact 100 grant, this organization continues to exemplify what it means to serve others with heart and purpose.
One of their most impactful initiatives is the Health Equipment Lending Program (HELP), which provides adult medical equipment to those in need. From walkers and wheelchairs to hospital beds and mobility aids, HELP ensures that individuals have access to the tools they need to maintain independence, recover from surgeries, or manage long-term health conditions.

What sets the Good News Project apart is their welcoming atmosphere and dedication to meeting the needs of every individual who walks through their doors. Their team goes above and beyond to make sure that families and individuals feel supported and valued. Whether you’re facing an urgent medical need or planning ahead for a loved one, HELP is a resource that can ease the burden and provide peace of mind.
For families at GiGi’s Playhouse, this program is particularly meaningful. Living with Down syndrome can come with unique medical and mobility challenges, and the HELP program can aid and assist those individuals navigating those needs. The Good News Project’s inventory of gently used durable medical equipment ensures that caregivers have affordable access to critical resources. If you have gently used durable medical equipment they also graciously accept donations.
Visiting the Good News Project is more than just accessing a service—it’s being welcomed into a community that genuinely cares. The warmth and kindness they extend to everyone is a reminder that, together, we can overcome challenges and make life better for all.
Whether you’re connected to GiGi’s Playhouse or simply part of the community, the Good News Project is a resource worth celebrating. If you’re in need of HELP services or want to learn more about their programs, don’t hesitate to reach out—you’ll be met with the same care and compassion that has touched so many lives already.
