Stirring Up Joy: Julie’s Journey with GiGi’s Kitchen Adult

In the midst of the pandemic, when social distancing became the norm and staying at home became a way of life, many of us found ourselves seeking new ways to stay connected and engaged. For Julie, discovering Virtual GiGi’s Kitchen Adult was a silver lining in an otherwise challenging time.

Amidst the pandemic, Julie stumbled upon GiGi’s Kitchen Adult, sparking a new passion for cooking and bonding with her family.

Julie and her sister joined the program together, with Julie taking charge of the grocery list while her mom accompanied them to the store. Week by week, they involved themselves in the virtual kitchen, chopping, stirring, and savoring the joy of cooking alongside other participants who became friends. Julie’s family shares her experience:

She has really enjoyed the cooking and the fellowship and has improved her skills in the kitchen. And she loves the recipes and created her own GiGi’s recipe folder. Julie also joined in with an End of Session Celebration and had fun with that.”

In Julie’s journey with GiGi’s Kitchen Adult, we have the pleasure of experiencing the Best of All moments and the joy of discovering new passions. Whether you’re a seasoned chef or an amateur cook, the virtual kitchen offers endless opportunities for creativity and connection. Registration is open for GiGi’s Kitchen Adult for Summer 2024!
