We welcome Julie Byrnes as Executive Director of the Virtual Playhouse. As a volunteer in Madison, Wisconsin, Julie fell in love with GiGi’s Playhouse and has held a variety of positions over the past 4 years including Program Committee Chair, President, and Interim Executive Director during a staff change. During her free time, she stays active with her husband and two children (ages 7 and 10) playing sports, fishing, hiking, and traveling. “I look forward to meeting, collaborating with, and serving Virtual Playhouse families, volunteers, and supporters. My hope is to partner with participants and volunteers to find ways to increase accessibility and a desirable, inspiring virtual experience for all.”

Nicolette

Site Manager
Nicolette Moinet

Nicolette has worked with children with special needs for 13 years, serving individuals with varying diagnoses, both here and abroad, in numerous ways. She was a teacher, an early childhood developmental therapist, an elementary/teenage age therapist, and a nonprofit founder and Executive Director. As someone who has lived and worked abroad, she is sensitive to other cultures and traditions. She has always advocated and fought for families and individuals with special needs. In her free time, she loves to read, go for runs, play with her dogs, and cook delicious food for her family. Nicolette has worked with GiGi’s since May 2021. Starting as the Training Coordinator, she assisted with launching the GiGi’s Training Site. Later, Nicolette moved into the Central Regional Specialist position, and this year she is excited for her new role as the Virtual Playhouse Site Manager “I cannot wait to connect with families and to provide services in a new way.”
