Who Will You Run, Walk or Dash For?|Team Dynamo’s|GiGi’s Playhouse 2016 5k

Time of another fun and inspiring GiGi’s Playhouse 2016 5k blog post! Today we have one of our Teen Volunteers sharing what Generation G and GiGi’s Playhouse mean to her! Our Teen Volunteers bring so much heart and excitement into GiGi’s Playhouse Syracuse!

GiGi's Playhouse Syracuse

Hi, my name is Marcelina and I am #generationG! Generation G to me is basically a new start every day! With the thought of Generation G in your mind, you can realize what you can fix in your attitude and how to teach (by example) others about kindness and acceptance, for everyone!  I make mistakes every day but there are no excuses for treating anyone differently or like they are not just as valuable as I am. Generation G can change everyones perspective on abilities. We are all good at some things and bad at others, all of us! Generation G means we look for the good in everyone and cheer it on!

GiGi’s Playhouse is personally one of my favorite places to be. The excitement and dedication shown by participants, families, friends and volunteers is overwhelmingly amazing! Everyone who comes to GiGi’s Playhouse brings along their sweetness and fun, together we have a great time learning and growing.  One of my best buddies is a little girl named Amelia, she is a blast! She brightens my day and keeps me on my toes (she is so fast!) I learn a lot from the way she works so hard everyday and never gives up, she makes me a better person. Everyone at GiGi’s does! <3  I am really happy to help raise money for GiGi’s Playhouse Syracuse as it has become a very big part of my families life, we are so thankful for everything we have learned! Thank you to everyone who will help me reach my goal!
