Program Spotlight: Music

Read about our Rock Rules Valentine’s Concert!

by Mia Siino & Claire Ramaley

One of our most popular programs at GiGi’s Playhouse Sacramento is the Music Program- Rock Rules! Run by Alan Ray, this class welcomes musicians ages 5 and up to live out their rockstar dreams!

From Mia- “I love Mr Alan, and I love Music because I can really show people my talent of singing and dancing. I also love the concerts that Mr Alan has us prepared for and that really make me feel like I’m showing my talents of singing and dancing to everyone that I love. I’m so proud to be part of this music program!”

Earlier this month our group held a Valentine’s Day Concert featuring love-themed songs and decorations, including hearts with the participants names and quotes from love songs. The songs picked were perfect and lots of fun for everyone!

Everyone was very into the concert and the whole crowd was participating. There were some great dance moves and overall everyone had a blast! My favorite part was doing the splits with Nic towards the end of the concert, and my favorite song was definitely Sugar by Maroon 5!

We all had a fun time and can’t wait for the next music class!

Check out our calendar here to sign up for the next class!
