“I have become a better person because of it”

Volunteering at GiGi’s has brought so many amazing people and experiences into my life. By photographing programs and events I’ve gotten to improve on and share my passion for photography with the community. I have met countless amazing people who have always shown me enthusiasm and kindness, and I have become a better person because of it. Every time I leave the playhouse I’m smiling bigger than I was when I went in, the happiness is contagious! Through being a member of the GenerationG youth advisory board I’ve been able to expand on what I’m able to do for the playhouse. Though I had no previous connection to the Down Syndrome community, GiGi’s welcomed me with open arms and I am beyond grateful for everything this community has given me!
