Powered by You: Thank You to Our 2025 Community

GiGi’s is powered by you – yes, YOU – the Quad Cities community. While we are proudly GiGi’s Playhouse Quad Cities, the love, support, and impact we feel reach far beyond our local area. Your generosity, encouragement, and belief in our mission fuel everything we do and help us serve individuals with Down syndrome and their families near and far.

In 2025, we heard many nonprofits say they were down in donations due to the economy. We did see a small decrease; however, we also had new supporters this year and others who supported in ways they never have before. As an organization that is 100% privately funded, your support means the world to us, but also to the individuals that we serve.

THANK YOU! Those two little words encompass so much. Check out our appreciation video linked here. It’s sure to leave you smiling!

Community

Thank you for your financial support, your volunteer time, and your commitment. Together, we will change the way the world views Down syndrome.

Our community showed up in a big way this year. More than 70 organizations, businesses, and civic groups supported GiGi’s through grants, sponsorships, workplace giving, and creative fundraisers. Whether the gift was $21 or $37,000, every contribution mattered—and together, they made a powerful difference.

While this blog highlights the incredible support of organizations, businesses, and civic groups, we also want to recognize the many individuals who chose to support us this past year. Whether you made a personal donation, formed a fundraising team for our peer-to-peer campaign, or hosted a third-party fundraiser on our behalf, we see you, and we are truly grateful for your support. YOU are responsible for almost 75% of the funds raised this past year. Thank YOU!
