Wishing You Holiday Joy 2025
Here at GiGi’s Playhouse Quad Cities, we’re all feeling joyful and full of holiday spirit.
Last week, we held our annual holiday party, and although the “🎼weather outside was frightful” in the morning, the skies cleared and so did many of the roads. This allowed us to hold the party as planned. While we did miss those who were unable to attend, we had the #bestofall time with close to 100 people who braved the weather. It was heartfelt to witness siblings, grandparents, and other special guests having such a great time! GiGi’s is truly a family affair!
Participants of all ages and their families enjoyed their private time with Santa. They all left with gifts and stuffed animals! It was endearing to hear and see all the special interactions. When one participant asked for an electric guitar and amp, it sparked a conversation about Johnny B Goode, and one sibling was trying to teach Santa how to say Labubu. We think Santa probably went back to the North Pole and shared his newly learned word with the elves!
This event was made possible thanks to the generous support of The Private Cities Wealth Group, along with Mr. Brian, who graciously prepared and catered a delicious meal for everyone to enjoy. The Moline Viking Club is especially accommodating with us. Their staff are a true example of Generation G. They were all accepting, generous, and kind. One bartender even asked us to come back again next year because the event brought her so much joy. She can’t wait to see us again! We appreciate their assistance in making the event the best it could be.
Also helping make the event truly great were our incredible volunteers who stepped in in so many ways. A special shout-out goes to the Midwest Sluggers Softball Team for overseeing the craft and activity tables and keeping the fun going all evening!
Midway through the evening, we were all treated to a special performance by the GiGi’s Rock Band! A heartfelt thank you to Ms. Misty and Ms. Leia with Quad Cities Music Therapy, and Ms. Erin, for sharing their time and talents throughout the year and making the Music Makers: Rock Band program possible.

Rock Band is currently taking a break for the winter, but will begin again in February 2026, and they are looking for new band members! Check out the website calendar to learn more and register!
All of the photos we took throughout the evening can be seen here.

We’d love to see your photos from the night too! Please share by uploading them here.
We end this blog by wishing all of our participants, families, volunteers, and supporters a blessed holiday season full of holiday joy! We hope to see you in the new year!
