2000 Hours of Achievement

As 2018 comes to a close, we want to thank all of you for your support of the Playhouse here in the Quad Cities. The Quad Cities is a great place to be and we are blessed with the support the community shows us each year.

We have outstanding volunteers, families, and donors that make GiGi’s Playhouse Quad Cities what it is. What is GiGi’s? It’s a place for families touched by Down syndrome to feel welcomed, accepted and loved. A place for individuals with Down syndrome to achieve their best of all and be celebrated along the way. A place to connect families with one another and to build lifelong friendship. A place to help the community with understanding and acceptance for ALL regardless of abilities.

So far this year at GiGi’s Quad Cities there have been approximately:

  • 1,700 program participant check ins

  • 2,800 hours of educational and therapeutic programming

  • 1,000 volunteer opportunities

  • 2,000 volunteer hours logged

Over 2000 hours of helping individuals achieve their #bestofall!! And the year isn’t over yet!

As we look ahead to the exciting New Year, together we will continue to deliver acceptance and belief to many families in our community through FREE programs, positive energy and high expectations.

Your commitment to and support of GiGi’s Playhouse is the reason we are able to do so much. Your help and support truly changes lives!

If you have given this year, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts! If you are in the giving spirit and looking to do any end of year giving, we ask you to keep GiGi’s in mind and know that your donations will help individuals with Down syndrome achieve the acceptance, dignity and quality of life that anyone deserves.
