Jaydon Rodin is a vibrant 16-year-old who brings light and energy to GiGi’s Playhouse every week as an active participant in the Teen Tastic Program. His arrival is eagerly anticipated, not just for his enthusiastic personality but also for the delightful mystery of which version of Jaydon will walk through the door.

Will it be Jaydon the Rock Star, ready to jam with his electric guitar? Or perhaps Sleepy Jaydon, cozy in his favorite pajamas, adding a touch of humor to the evening? Maybe it’s Athlete Jaydon, fresh from the field in his high school football gear, or Romantic Jaydon, holding flowers for his girlfriend and fellow participant, Chandni. Each Tuesday night, his varied personas fill the Playhouse with joy and excitement, making every gathering special.

For the Rodin family, coming to the Playhouse is more than just a weekly activity; it is a family affair. Jaydon, accompanied by his little brother Levi, often arrives with his mom or grandparents, and their presence adds a warm, familial atmosphere to the Playhouse community. Jaydon attends Capistrano Valley High School, where he is well-loved by both students and staff. Active on the football and baseball teams, he dreams of becoming homecoming king, with Chandni as his queen, when he is a senior. His charisma and passion for life extend beyond the school grounds and into every corner of GiGi’s Playhouse. His karaoke renditions of “We Will Rock You” by Queen are a big hit, and he is always front and center during GiGiFIT Teen sessions. His eagerness to participate in all Playhouse events, from the GiGiFIT Acceptance Challenge to movie nights, BINGO, and Trunk or Treat, demonstrates his love for the Playhouse and its community.

One of the most memorable moments at GiGi’s Playhouse was when Jaydon chose it as the setting for his prom-posal to Chandni. The room erupted in cheers when she said yes, a testament to the close-knit, supportive environment that GiGi’s fosters.
