Meet GiGi’s NYC amazing volunteer, Katie! Hailing all the way from Southport, United Kingdom, Katie came to the US for a job opportunity and began volunteering with us during her free time. She quickly became a valuable member of our community and we are so thankful to have her! Read more about Katie below:

How and when did you first get involved with GiGi’s NYC? I have been volunteering at GiGi’s NYC since April 2023 after coming across their website on Google. 

Why did you decide to volunteer with GiGi’s NYC? I found myself with a lot of free time and wanted to spend this time more socially and productively by making a difference. I got incredibly lucky that I found such a special and welcoming community that enabled me to do so!

What is the best part about volunteering with GiGi’s NYC? The best part about GiGi’s NYC is the warm welcome you receive the moment you walk through the door. Their joy is infectious and I strive to be as smiley and positive as they are!

What do you want the GiGi’s NYC community to know? GiGi’s NYC, I will forever be grateful to be part of your community. Coming to the playhouse is the highlight of my week and I am always so happy to be with you guys!
