Summer Adventures – Participant Reflections
August 19, 2016
For the first time ever, GiGi’s Playhouse NYC had a full-day, drop-off program for teens: Summer Adventures!
Teens, paired with a volunteer mentor, spent one or two weeks exploring NYC through museums, Broadway, and baseball, learning about nutrition and healthy cooking, learning about improv and music, dancing, singing karaoke, and making new friends!
Each day, teens also completed a reflection on the day’s activities. I could tell you about each day in detail, how great the program was and how much fun everyone had, but these reflections speak for themselves. Enjoy!
