Participant Spotlight: Sable Williams

This week we are spotlighting a GiGi’s NYC program participant who is near and dear to our hearts – Sable Williams!

Sable lives in NYC and is a very loyal friend. She attends programs weekly at GiGi’s Playhouse NYC! Sable will tell you “My favorite program is the Gratitude Art Committee” as she attends weekly with her friend Gladys. She cites “drawing/coloring” as her “favorite fun activity”. When given the chance she will fill an entire canvas with her amazing works of art. Sable was given a platform to showcase her creativity when she was a featured artist in our GiGi’s Playhouse NYC Gratitude Art Committee Corporate Art Project,where diversity was celebrated with an art show hosted by Société Générale. Her piece was on display for a month in their NYC Headquarters

Sable, as well as being an amazing artist and dancer, is a great friend to everyone she meets. We are fortunate to have her as a valued member of the GiGi’s NYC family. Sable says, “My favorite thing about GiGi’s NYC is that it lets me be myself… It means the world to me. It’s like my second home.” Providing a space where participants can tend their own unique inner gardens and where they feel loved and appreciated is a central part of what we seek to achieve, we are deeply humbled by Sable’s words.
