At GiGi’s Playhouse, National Reading Month is more than a celebration of books — it’s a celebration of perseverance, confidence, and milestone moments that once felt far away but are now beautifully real. This year, we are proud to celebrate Kenzie and the incredible progress she has made on her literacy journey.

Kenzie’s path to reading has been one filled with determination, patience, and unwavering belief. Like many learners, her journey did not follow a straight line. There were moments of excitement, moments of challenge, and many small steps that slowly built into meaningful growth.

Over the years, Kenzie worked tirelessly on foundational literacy skills. Learning letter recognition, practicing how to form letters, and remembering spelling patterns requires persistence and repetition.
