Why I love GiGi’s Milwaukee

Because people with Down syndrome and other different abilities are teaching humanity how to live again. Every single person on this planet has a purpose and a voice and deserves to be seen, valued, accepted, and loved. Not only does GiGi’s Playhouse give individuals with Down syndrome a voice but it provides an opportunity for thousands of people to come together to manifest social change. There are hundreds of people across the world who are making a difference in their communities, raising awareness and connecting resources just because they know someone with Down syndrome. Our participants are teaching us how to live, how to work together, and giving us the confidence and inspiration to keep going every day.
