Jackie Bueno is a volunteer who hosts Nuestros Angeles, a program where Spanish speaking families can come together!
How did you hear about GiGi’s Playhouse?
Through our home physical therapist and early intervention.
How did you become involved as a volunteer here?

I started to take my daughter to the Hoffman Estates location and when they gave me the newsletter, I noticed they had a hispanic play group. Then when I found out there was a Gigi’s opening in McHenry, and I thought it would be awesome to volunteer for a spanish play group.
What do you hope to accomplish with Nuestros Angeles?
What do you hope to accomplish with Nuestros Angeles?
I hope that I can bring as many hispanic families together out to Gigi’s and just experience how great it is. It’s amazing how people from all kinds of backgrounds and cultures can come together for one cause.
What would you like to say to the Spanish speaking families out there who may not know about this program?
It’s a great program for everyone to come together like a family. The kids play while the parents get to know each other.
In three words, how would you describe your volunteer experience at GiGi’s?
It’s been wonderful.
