Cooking Club

Fun and friendship is a stabilizing part of our Cooking Club! This was evident last night as we celebrated Thanksgiving, slightly early.  While watching everyone share the meals they prepared for Cooking Club and the kindness and friendships these kids have developed from attending cooking club was abundant.   From the consideration shown by the kids in making a gluten free Pumpkin Pie to the parent volunteer who made gluten free green bean casserole with homemade french fried onions so the kids could try a dish they had never had before due to allergies.  These are the things that make this time of year so great.  I am grateful the amazing examples these young people are and how they are changing the world!

For everyone requesting the amazing recipe for the Gluten Free Green Bean Casserole, he agreed to share it with us and we will get it posted as soon as we get!  Thank you Becky, Tyler, and all the Chef’s in training in Cooking Club for the amazing food.

Our next Cooking Club is December 3rd at 4:30 at the Playhouse, come and enjoy the fun and food.

There are so many things to be grateful for this time of year, we would love to hear what some of the things you are grateful!
