What a Blessing to be back!

“What a Blessing it is to be back in the Playhouse” mom Alicia Fox commented after her son Van’s first GiGiFIT Toddler class.

February 5th we safely launched In -Person programs back in the Playhouse.

Families were excited to attend their favorite programs such as Destination Discovery, GiGiFIT Toddler, GiGiFIT Kids, and LMNOP.

“Dominic is so happy to be back at GiGi’s for GiGiFit Toddler! Before the pandemic Dominic was going to GiGi’s up to three times a week. I knew he missed it, but seeing how excited he was his first time back made me realize just how much he missed it and how special GiGi’s is to him. I am so thankful that we now have a place we can take him where we feel safe and he gets to socialize with other kids while working on his physical therapy goals.” – Eliza Hamer

We also launched our new program GiGi’s Kitchen. GiGi’s Kitchen is designed to emphasize the importance of health and wellness through nutrition education, kitchen safety, food preparation, social activities, and a shared meal/snack. Participants learned about and progress through skills including measurements, food handling, knife skills, ingredient identification, palette expansion, and nutrition. Participants were introduced to various cooking techniques and will increase their self-esteem and self-confidence with their peers!

We welcomed two new families to our GiGi’s family! A pregnant couple due this month and a family who just gave birth to a beautiful son. Each family learned about all our FREE PROGRAMS ,connected them with other GiGi’s families and had a tour of the playhouse.  The families felt a sense of peace knowing even during a pandemic they still have a place like GiGi’s Playhouse to call home.

We look forward to safely adding more programs back in the future. Spaces are limited  for In-Person programs, be sure to RSVP to ensure your program spot!
