The sky is the limit!

For the last week my coworker Kim has proudly posted pictures at her desk of her new great-niece Adriana Skye.  Adriana has a wonderful large family that is elated over the new addition to their family. I love hearing about all the places her family will take her to, and how everyone is going to spoil her. She told me about all the love and support that Adrianna Skye has surrounding her, “she will want for nothing, the sky is the limit for her.”
She confided to me that Adriana Skye has Down syndrome. I gave her a big hug and told her that I had something to show her. I ran to my desk and gave her my GiGi’s calendar. I told her about all the support and programs that are offered. Of course, I had to point out the pictures of my nephew Paulie and brag.
Later when she gave me the calendar back she had a smile on her face. The Down Syndrome Creed really touched her; I have to admit it made me cry the first time I read it. A few days later I gave her the Celebration Packet, she was very happy and said it was just what they needed.
Adrianna made her entrance into this world two months early. Adriana is still in the hospital, but is making consistent gains and shows improvement on a daily basis. She is so precious. I can`t wait to meet her.
