GiGi’s Playhouse hits a hole in one!

The day could not have been more perfect for our 8th Annual GiGi’s Playhouse National golf outing at The Club of Wynstone.

GiGi Gianni flawlessly sang the National Anthem while the American Flag flew over the crowd of golfers, participants, families, staff, and volunteers.

A new highlight at the event was the Participant Putt-Off Challenge with our interns from Hugs and Mugs competing. Each participant hit three balls, then would move into the championship round. The winner received a prize and each participant received a custom plaque.

We were honored to have the Hug Family speak about what GiGi’s Playhouse meant to their family. The family also generously donated a US Open, Masters, and Autographed PGA Championship Phil Mickelson Flag for our silent auction.

A BIG shout to Rosatis Pizza in Lake Zurich for providing our golfers again this year with their delicious pizza. We also want to thank Spirit Water for their Whiskey tasting and Gerald and Camille- Acoustic Duo for providing beautiful music during dinner!

This years golf outing raised almost $150,000 (new record!) that will be used to provide our individuals with Down syndrome and their families with FREE PROGRAMS. Thanks again to our golfers, sponsors, volunteers, and supporters who allow us to keep moving our mission forward! We a so grateful for the support!
