Daren had many super powers, the ability to love genuinely was one of his strongest powers.

                           Daren Sean Zons 3/28/78-9/24/2020
Daren passed away peacefully on September 24, 2020 with his loving mother by his side. Daren is survived by his mother, Jane Zons, his sister Kristin (Chuck) Strauss, his brother Derek (Jaci) Zons, his nephew Karl (Angie) Reinke, his nieces Janelyn, kaitlyn, Sarah, alyssa, Hannah and his great nephew Javi Reinke. He is preceded in death by his father, Kacey Zons and his grandmother Lorraine Mosinski. Daren loved playing his video games, Star Wars movies, Harry Potter, swimming in pools, taking vacations, doughnuts, playing golf with his brother Derek, and making his sisters, Jaci and Kristin laugh with his silly faces and remarks, he was hilarious. Daren was known for his love of superhero t- shirts. He had quite the collection! His family enjoyed seeing which T-shirt he would pick for the day. Even though Daren wore his superhero T-shirts, Daren has ALWAYS been the true superhero. He had many super powers, the ability to love genuinely was one of his strongest powers. Daren was humble, sweet, strong, hilarious and polite. He was so very loved by his family and many others who were blessed enough to have known him. Daren acquired his kindness and genuine ability to love from his wonderful parents who raised him into the superhero he became throughout his life. He was the best. Up until the very end he never once complained.
“He impacted my life mostly because I was amazed at an individual who never expressed hate. I don’t even think he knew what it was. As he got older I noticed it more and more. He was ALWAYS happy, never complained, never judged and found joy in the smallest things that most people take for granted. He never had bad feelings toward anyone, and in this day that is a rare occurrence. I admired his ability to live so peacefully and with so much gratitude. He made everyone around him smile, always” – Daren’s sister, Kristin Zons Strauss
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to GiGi’s Playhouse in Hoffman Estates in Daren’s honor, so that other superheroes, just like Daren, can have blessed opportunities for growth and development. Click here to donate in Daren’s memory.
