Volunteer Spotlight: Celebrating Diana

At GiGi’s Playhouse, our volunteers are the heart of everything we do—and Diana is a shining example of what makes our community so special.
Diana has been part of the GiGi’s Playhouse family for many years, first coming alongside her daughter, Nicole. While her journey began as a parent, Diana’s impact has grown far beyond that role. She is now an integral volunteer whose dedication, creativity, and generosity touch nearly every corner of our Playhouse.
One of Diana’s most beloved roles is leading our Fantastic Friends program, a monthly favorite among our adult participants. Fantastic Friends is no small task—it’s essentially planning a party every month for 30–50 individuals—and Diana does it with enthusiasm and heart. Each month brings a new, thoughtfully planned theme, from lively luaus to cozy movie nights to joyful holiday celebrations. These events give our adults something to look forward to, a place to connect with friends, and memories that last long after the decorations come down.
Beyond Fantastic Friends, Diana is always there when the Playhouse needs her. She volunteers countless hours at special events, helps decorate the Playhouse for the holidays—transforming it into a warm, festive space—and even steps in administratively, covering the front office during weekly staff meetings. Her willingness to help wherever needed never goes unnoticed.
Diana is truly a cherished part of our GiGi’s Playhouse community. Her dedication, reliability, and kindness make a lasting impact on our participants, families, staff, and fellow volunteers. We honestly don’t know what we would do without her—and we are endlessly grateful for everything she does.
Thank you, Diana, for being you and for making GiGi’s Playhouse a brighter, more joyful place for all. 💙
