World Down Syndrome Day

World Down Syndrome Day
Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate World Down Syndrome Day on March 21st! We had some learning activities about Down syndrome and had a great time socializing with families and celebrating.
Thank you to all our parents who donated food and drinks and a special thanks to Jimmy Johns for their donation of sandwiches!
Thank you also to the Campbell family and the Zurita family for sharing the awesome resources they created for classrooms and the community about Down syndrome. We have a talented group of participants and parents!!!

If you are interested in having a presentation at your child’s school or your work place please contact the Playhouse at: foxvalley@gigisplayhouse.org (link to email). We would love to make an age appropriate presentation about Down syndrome and our organization. This would also be great as a presentation to a civic organization, scouts, key club, best buddies, or other volunteer centered organization!
