Gigi’s Playhouse Fox Valley serves Aurora, Naperville and the surrounding communities. The concept of GiGi’s Playhouse was created by Nancy Gianni after her daughter, GiGi, was diagnosed with Down Syndrome. What began as a mother’s vision to change perception, and maximize her daughter’s successes, has evolved into a global movement of acceptance.

GiGi’s Playhouse, a national Down syndrome achievement center, recently launched a campaign to encourage others to see the up side of Down syndrome.
“Generation G is a movement that GiGi’s has developed to just promote acceptance, to promote a change in the way we see people with disabilities and to see disabilities as a strength and not weaknesses,” said Amanda Rooney, Vice President of the Board of Directors for GiGi’s Playhouse Fox Valley.
