Playhouse Inspiration- Naperville Half Marathon & 5k

It was a blistering cold day in October for the Naperville Half Marathon & 5k, but that didn’t stop us. The sun wasn’t even up, but that did not deter us. GiGi’s Playhouse Fox Valley was on a mission to raise awareness and empower individuals with Down syndrome! Through our runners active fundraising we were able to meet and exceed our goal! The money we raised, and will still continue to raise through our efforts on Giving Tuesday will ensure that our Playhouse is not only sustainable, but growing! We are looking forward to a 2019 with lots of new and exciting developments and we are thankful for all those who have given their time, talent and treasure in 2018, because without you all this would not be possible!
A special shout out to Joe Catalano for being our top fundraiser and Katie Finke for having the most donors and finishing the half marathon with a time of 1hr 37 minutes, putting her 7th in her division!!!
