Playhouse Inspiration- Across the Network- Cleveland

We have received a few in kind donations from our wish list recently. Two cozy coupes, a Melissa & Doug grocery store, an activity center, and the big purple caterpillar in the post below. We didn’t recognize the names of the donors for the other items, but I was able to send a thank you through the Amazon QR code on the paper in the boxes. There wasn’t a paper that came with the caterpillar, so I decided to create a post on social media, sharing our excitement for the new in kind donation, as well as ask if the mystery donor wanted to identify themselves. Through Instagram, Sarah shared that the caterpillar was their Christmas present to GiGi’s Playhouse, in memory of their precious daughter, Maggie, who was born asleep on April 25, 2020. I recognized her name and learned that it was Maggie’s grandparents and aunts and uncles who donated the other items we received in November. I reached out to Sarah and invited her and her husband and family for a private tour of GiGi’s Playhouse when they are ready. In addition, Erin and a parent who brings her son for tutoring both commented to Sarah how the caterpillar has already brought so much joy to the Playhouse through the children playing with it!
