Naperville Half Marathon/5K!

We had so much fun at the half marathon and 5k that took place in the streets of downtown Naperville yesterday! With 30 charity runners running and raising money for GiGi’s FV we were able to raise over $13,000! This is a phenomenal number that will go directly to our kids and families through various programs, events, and tutoring sessions. The rain held out for us and we had a great morning running. October is Down Syndrome Awareness month and taking to the streets in our bright shirts was a great way to celebrate. We hope that by sharing our message of acceptance through the city that others were inspired to take a look at GiGi’s and really see what it means to live a Generation G lifestyle! We are so proud of everyone for their hard work these last few weeks and loved how the day turned out!
