In Honor of Down Syndrome Acceptance Month

On Oct. 5 at Chicago City Hall, Mayor Rahm Emanuel issued a proclamation recognizing October as Down Syndrome Acceptance Month, helping to shift the focus from awareness to acceptance nationwide.
