March $3 Decal Fundraiser 100% Profits Benefitting Generation G: GiGi’s Playhouse Fox Valley

Generation G is a conscious decision to be better everyday. Be Accepting. Be Generous. Be Kind. It’s not ok to allow another person to be bullied, degraded or made to feel inferior. Corporations, schools, and the like can all get involved and show that we are all better than what the world is looking like today. These 3” and 2.5” waterproof vinyl decals promise it. They are available for purchase at www.BLCD321.com, or in-person at the Light & Pine Collective in Batavia, Paisano’s in Elburn and Sugar Grove, The Rustic Fox in North Aurora, Sensei’s Scentries in Yorkville, and Wyckwood House in Aurora.

Featuring awareness designs and merchandise, BLCD was inspired by and created in support of my oldest daughter, Lorelai, who has Down Syndrome and Autism, as well as other diagnoses. After learning of her multiple diagnoses, we found that we wanted to show our support of every part of her and every awareness day or event tied to them, by donning our shirts and car stickers, but that the single-focus symbols never truly represented our little girl. This is what inspired the first design for the dual diagnoses of Down syndrome and Autism. From there, I created other designs supporting various awareness days/months, events and teams. I was encouraged by some fellow moms in the community to sell my designs and told others felt the same way.

We have been supported by so many organizations on our journey and have been searching for a way to give back, but have not been able to do so very well. Now we can. 10% of all profits are donated to charities that have supported our daughter, and the remainder of all sales pay for her therapy services. We are dedicated to spreading awareness and acceptance for children of every ability.
