‘Fiddler’ cast at Paramount inspires teens

In recognition of World Down Syndrome Day, our friends at the Paramount Theatre in Aurora, IL donated tickets for our teens from GiGi’s Playhouse Fox Valley to see “Fiddler on the Roof”.  After the show, the group also had the opportunity to meet most of the cast and crew and learn about careers in theater.

GiGi’s Playhouse Teen group leader, Marissa Yelenosky, shares “The performances were spectacular.  The teens loved the music and dancing and the parents enjoyed this amazing experience!   We are so grateful to Paramount Theatre President & CEO Tim Rater, and Jim Jarvis, Vice President of Marketing and Sales for making this happen!”

Friends Sarah Bak and Jacob Spenadel both got to spend some time with Peter Kevoian, who plays the lead, Tevye and shared their take on the experience saying, “Our favorite part of the event was getting to see the actors after the show in their regular clothes.   They look just like everybody else!”
